The Mille Lacs Energy Cooperative (MLEC) board of directors recently announced the appointment of Anthony Lenz as the Aitkin-based cooperative’s new chief executive officer.
Following a search process that included a comprehensive review of candidates and several rounds of interviews, the board chose Lenz for his strong leadership background, industry expertise and commitment to the cooperative principles that guide MLEC.
Lenz joins MLEC from the Minnesota Rural Electric Association and brings experience that will build upon the foundation and momentum established under the leadership of former CEO Sarah Cron.
