Great River Energy receives ‘Equality 100 Award’ designation 

Great River Energy received a top score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2026 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.  

“The CEI is so much more than a score,” said Jason Vollbrecht, manager of benefits and retirement at Great River Energy. “It’s validation of our amazing culture and recognizes our commitment and support of inclusion for all employees.”  

The collective results of the 2026 index showcase how U.S.-based companies are promoting LGBTQ+ friendly workplace policies in the United States and abroad. The CEI rates employers providing these crucial protections to more than 22 million U.S. workers on detailed criteria falling under four central pillars:  

• Non-discrimination policies across business entities 
• Equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families 
• Supporting an inclusive culture 
• Corporate social responsibility 

This is the fourth time that Great River Energy has earned a top score and made the distinguished list of recognized organizations.
