Meeker announces new CEO/general manager

Meeker Cooperative Light & Power Association recently announced the appointment of Luke Johnson as its new chief executive officer/general manager.

Johnson, who holds 22 years of experience in the electric cooperative industry and served as the electric and broadband operations manager at Meeker Cooperative since 2018, will be the sixth manager in the co-op’s 88-year history.

Johnson said he is looking forward to working with the co-op’s board, employees and members “to continue providing reliable and affordable services to the communities we serve.”
