Hogenson named interim CEO at CLP

Carey Hogenson

The Cooperative Light & Power (CLP) board of directors recently appointed Carey Hogenson as interim chief executive officer. The announcement followed the resignation of Joel Janorschke, who will assume same role at Lake Region Electric Cooperative, based in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.

“As interim CEO, I plan to focus on continuity and stability,” Hogenson said. “Joel has done an outstanding job in his tenure and is leaving CLP in a strong position. I will continue to prioritize our mission of delivering safe, reliable and affordable electricity to our members.”

Hogenson previously served as CLP’s member services and human resources manager and has held additional roles in billing, collections and marketing throughout her 30 years of service to the cooperative and its members. She is also known for being a steward of the community, organizing CLP’s annual toy drive and volunteering with numerous local organizations.

“Carey’s institutional knowledge, leadership experience and unwavering dedication to our cooperative make her exceptionally well-suited to lead CLP,” said Board President Roger Peterson.
