Great River Energy ranked among Healthiest 100 Workplaces

Great River Energy was recently recognized for its commitment to workplace wellness and exceptional health and benefits offerings by once again receiving the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America award designation.

The award highlights organizations from across the nation of various sizes and industries. Great River Energy is the only Minnesota company to make the distinguished list for 2025.

“This recognition celebrates Great River Energy for our ongoing efforts that are above and beyond standard programs and policies,” said Jason Vollbrecht, manager of benefits and retirement at Great River Energy. “It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to provide employees with offerings that best fit their evolving needs and creating a true culture of health where employee well-being is encouraged and thrives.”

The award began in 2009 to celebrate workplaces that prioritize their people by investing in their employees’ health. The assessment, scored on 1-100 rubric scale, was developed with input from experts in academia, medicine, wellness and business.

Great River Energy has now earned a place on the list eight times since 2014 and was one of the first 20 organizations nationally to be inducted into the Healthiest Employers Hall of Fame back in 2022.
