A ‘Great Place To Work’

Great River Energy’s company culture earns national recognition

Great River Energy once again earned a “Great Place To Work” certification following the results of a recent employee survey.

The award is based entirely on what current employees say about their experience working at Great River Energy. This year, 89% of employees said the cooperative is a great place to work, compared to 57% of employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

“We are thrilled to become certified as we consider employee experience a top priority,” said Rona Stewart, manager of employee engagement and development at Great River Energy. “We owe our continued success to our team of dedicated employees. We celebrate and thank them for all they do to earn this incredible recognition.”

Following are highlights from the employee responses to this year’s survey:

• 94% of respondents say that when you join Great River Energy, you are made to feel welcome.
• 93% of respondents say Great River Energy’s members would rate the service employees deliver as “excellent.”
• 91% of respondents say they feel good about the ways Great River Energy contributes to the community.
• 91% of respondents say they are provided the resources and equipment to do their job.

Organizations partner with Great Place To Work to understand how effectively their leaders create the conditions for an overwhelmingly positive employee experience. Great Place To Work offers data about the employee experience, sourced from surveys taken by millions of employees globally. This data offers organizations insight into how their employees will interact with the workplace and establishes benchmarks for working conditions around the world.

Great River Energy has participated in four Great Place To Work surveys and was certified each time.
