Electrifying the world

America’s electric cooperatives brought electricity to the countryside of the United States, but did you know that today’s cooperatives also help developing countries do the same?

Great River Energy and many of its member-owner cooperatives have long supported electrification efforts in Guatemala, Philippines, Haiti and more than a dozen other countries through financial support and volunteer assistance.
