Stockade 115-kV transmission project

Great River Energy and Meeker Cooperative Light & Power Association propose to construct new overhead 115-kV transmission line that is needed to provide electric power to a new Minnesota Pipe Line Company pumping station.

All permits for this project have been obtained.

History

A public hearing was held Aug. 18 at the Meeker County Courthouse in Litchfield.

The Environmental Assessment was accepted as complete on June 16, 2015 by the Meeker County Board of Commissioners.

Meeker County approved Great River Energy’s conditional use permit on Sept. 1, 2015.

DNR water crossing license has been obtained.

US Army Corps of Engineers authorized project under General Permit (RGP-003-MN).
