Great River Energy proposes to upgrade an existing 34.5-kV transmission line between Great River Energy’s Long Lake Substation to Itasca-Mantrap’s Mantrap Substation to meet increasing loads and improve reliability of the area’s power supply.

Representatives of Great River Energy and Itasca-Mantrap Electrical Co-op Association held an open house meeting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, that provided information about the proposed project and heard feedback.
