Big Sandy 69-kV transmission project

Great River Energy proposes to build and operate approximately 7.25 miles of new 69-kilovolt (kV) overhead transmission line near McGregor, Minn., to ensure the reliability of electric service to the members of Lake Country Power. Lake Country Power is building a new Big Sandy Substation, and this transmission line will improve the electric service to the Big Sandy area.
